Description
I originally spied this rusty old truck back in Kansas in a junk lot where the owner intended to sell part of old vehicles. The license plate had the unique title of "Fourty." Old trucks and cars all have a story unto themselves. I wish I knew the story behind this truck. I was inspired by the song Route 66 to finish this painting.

Well it winds from Chicago to L.A.
More than 2000 miles all the way

Well it goes from St Louis, down to Missouri
Oklahoma city looks oh so pretty

Kingsman, Barstaw, San Bernadino
Would you get hip to this kindly trip
And take that California trip
