Description
I was searching my brain for a bit more creative title for this piece. Then I realized this was to be a very simple painting so the title should be simple as well.
How we take the simple spoon for granted. Just think if there were no spoons and how important they are in the utensil category.
I've realized you can use a fork as a spoon if you use it rapidly enough but you won't get much.
Just think, how would we eat a dish of ice cream? Sipping or slurping on a soothing bowl of soup wouldn't be nearly as pleasant would it. To be without a spoon while making that pot of soup, would be rather daunting. Think of all the other possibilities sans spoons.
Then there are those that were born with a silver spoon. I've known some of them and I would expect many of you do as well. Spoon feeding in the long run teaches us nothing but the shape of the spoon. I know what hard times are like. I didn't grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth and for that I'm especially happy.
