This was a private commission that I painted a few years ago for a client. The painting was given to this young lady as a gift to her as she graduated from college. Apparently, Thanksgiving was such a memorable holiday and the annual "chow-down" event that she held most dear. As I was in the process of this, it became aware to me that this painting had that Norman Rockwell nostaligic type of feeling to it.
