Artist's Description
As you complete a painting, one is always thinking of what the title would be. I'm not sure why the word "transcendence" popped into my head but when I searched for the definition, I knew it would be perfect. Transcendence is the act of rising above something to a superior state. As an example, if you were at a concert where the rock star jumped into the audience, the concert and audience may have achieved a state of transcendence. In this case, the swan is the rock star landing into the ocean.
