After first moving to Arizona from Colorado, I encountered these majestic egret birds while walking around a beautiful & serene lake. An incredible number of egrets had landed around this lake and at first I almost thought they were not real. They appeared like soldiers standing guard without moving until they took off ever so gracefully. I continued to watch in amazement as they would glide upon the lake with even more grace.
