Spike is waiting for a party to happen! Actually Spike is the party!
Spike is a female Dachshund. The name “Dachshund” is actually German for badger dog. Spike's short legs keeps her low to the ground to track scents, and her narrow body allows her to crawl into burrows, looking for badgers. Spike, despite her small size, is brave and fierce.
We dressed her up so we are hoping she won't be crawling in burrows or attacking badgers today.
